The story of the witch's house in Beverly Hills dates back to the early 20th century when it was designed by Harry Oliver, an art director in Hollywood who worked on over 30 films during his career.

This building was constructed in 1921, initially to host offices and dressing rooms for a film studio, then transformed into a private home. The small-size windows, the uniquely shaped roof, and the many details that render it charming and a bit magical are striking.

It covers an area of 3,552 square feet and is named after its first residents, the Spadena family; it later passed through various owners before becoming the property of Michael Libow, a real estate agent who purchased and renovated it.
